Activating the PPF banka
e-Token e‑app

1. Have your mobile device and a laptop ready

To make the whole activation process easier, we recommend using a laptop (or desktop computer) together with the mobile device on which you will be installing and activating the PPF banka e-Token app.

2. Download the PPF banka e-Token app to your mobile device

If you have an Android or iOS smartphone, you’ll find the PPF banka e-Token app on Google Play or the App Store. Alternatively, you can download it using a QR code.

3. Log in to Internet Banking on your laptop

At www.ppfbanka.cz , click on „Internet Banking“ in the top bar
and log in.

4. Click on your name in Internet Banking

You will see your name in the top right corner of the screen.

5. Choose the option to add a token in Internet Banking

Click on “Add token” in the lower right corner of the screen.

6. Activate the PPF banka e-Token app in Internet Banking

Select the option “PPF banka e-Token app on your mobile phone”.

7. Press “Send code via SMS”

8. Confirm the SMS code sent to you

Enter the SMS code sent to your mobile phone and click “Continue”.

9. Launch the e-Token app on your mobile device

Then choose the option “Internet banking”, followed by “Scan code”.

10. Scan the Cronto code with your mobile device

Point its camera at the Cronto code (coloured square) on the screen in Internet Banking.

11. Set up a PIN for the PPF banka e-Token app

After reading the Cronto code, the PPF banka e-Token app on your mobile device will prompt you to set up a PIN. Enter this twice to confirm it is correct. In addition to a PIN you can also set up biometric authentication.
In the next step, allow the app to send you notifications. It won’t work properly without this.

12. Activation of the e-Token app is now complete

If the Cronto code was read successfully, you will see a screen in your Internet Banking confirming that activation was successful. After completing the activation process, click on “Finish”.
