Tanemo a.s., a part of the PPF Group, is announcing an intention to extend the Acceptance Period for its voluntary public proposal to purchase a part of the shares issued by MONETA Money Bank (“MMB”) by 5 March 2021. Tanemo is responding to a growing number of requests from MMB shareholders and Custodians of MMB ownership stakes who are facing pandemic-induced delays regarding formal requirements for the ownership transfer process. Under the current public-health restrictions against the spread of the COIVD-19 disease, these types of formalities take longer than usual.
Tanemo’s extension of the voluntary public proposal to purchase the MMB shares is entirely in accordance with the existing valid offer which fixed the Acceptance Period from 8 February 2021 to 26 February 2021, with the option to extend it to 5 March 2021. The information of the extension will be published on the MMB’s website and in the Commercial Gazette.
